| Palli Himagar (Pvt.) Ltd. Empowering rural farmers with reliable storage facilities Palli Hamagar (Pvt.) Ltd. Commenced as a project in 1997. It set up operations in Joypurhat which is in North-Western Bangladesh, Primarily of its easy accessibility by land and water and started out by giving the farmers all possible conveniences to use Palli Himagar (Pvt.) Ltd.’s storage capacity. As Palli Himagar (Pvt.) Ltd. Enabled these farmers to keep their produces fresh for longer and allowing them to sell more of their potato crop over a longer time, many become financially independent and no longer needed credits in order to store their crop. Originally, the enterprise had intended to provide reliable cold storage to vegetable and fruit farmers, as well as traders with leftover produce,. However, since fruits and vegetables require very particular, costly preservation processes, Palli Himagar (Pvt.) Ltd. Structured its storage facility to potato farmers only.

| Palli Himagar (Pvt.) Ltd. Has for the capacity to store 160,000 bags of potatoes, each bag holding approximately 60 kilograms. Palli Himagar (Pvt.) Ltd. Is different from other cold storage facilities due to the quality of service . Unlike many competitors, it does not skirt the high diesel costs to properly run the generators for the sufficient cooling of potatoes. The facility currently stores all types of potatoes available in the South-East Asia region, which comprises of Granola, Diamond, Cardinal, Sheel Beelathi, Lal Sheel, Round Potatoes, Oval Size Potatoes, Seeds Potatoes, Bengal Potatoes, Yellow Potatoes, ect. Accordingly. It provides some of the highest in quality potato seeds for all major varieties. It currently supplies potatoes for both the processed food industries as well as for consumption.
